Step 3 First Login and Licensing your products

Before you start using the Ops Center components you should add your supplied licenses. Any products you're not licensed for can be deleted.

First Login

Login to your deployed Ops Center instance by accessing:
https://<DNS or IP>/portal
The default credentails are:
Username: sysadmin
Password: sysadmin

Licensing Automator

By selecting the 'License not activated' link. You'll be redirected to the License page.

Select 'File' then 'Choose file'. From here you can unzip the license file supplied from Hitachi Vantara and select the appropriate file in the zip package, that file that contains the "Hitachi Ops Center Automator PERM" entries, is the appropriate file to use. Once done, select 'Save', to apply the license file.

Licensing Analyzer

By selecting the 'License not activated' link. You'll be redirected to the License page.

Select 'File' then 'Choose file'. From here you can unzip the license file supplied from Hitachi Vantara and select the appropriate file in the zip package, that file that contains the "Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer" entries, is the appropriate file to use. Once done, select 'Save', to apply the license file. You might receive that error after you've done this indicating the products are not linked, which is ok and will be configured in the next step.

Licensing Analyzer Detailed View

By selecting the 'License not activated' link. You'll be redirected to the License page. You'll be asked to agree to the terms and conditions, once you accept you'll be directed to a page where you can apply the license file. The licence file with 'Cumulus' in name is typically the correct file to use.

Licensing Protector

By selecting the 'License not activated' link. You'll be redirected to the License page. A five-week trial license is included with Protector, this will give unlimited access to the features of the product except for encrypted repositories. To receive a permanent ID please reach out to your Hitachi Sales representative with your machine ID highlighted on the page.

Once the key is received you can navigate back to this page. Hit the '+' link to add the License string received.
